Robin Luciano Beaty: Intuitive Journeys with Encaustic Mixed Media Paintings
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Robin Luciano Beaty:  Intuitive Journeys with Encaustic Mixed Media Painting will be in the Spencer Presentation Gallery from November 7, 2011 - March 9, 2012.  Galleries will be closed from 12/23/2011 - 1/3/2012.  In the month of January there will be no weekend hours.
Through the fluid and sculptural qualities of wax, Ms. Luciano Beaty navigates memory, scraping, tearing, building and bruning down multiple layers to reveal new and unique works of art.  She utilizes the ancient wax based process of encaustic painting, which includes beeswax and pigments; and further incorporates mixed media, vintage materials, textiles, and found objects.
